I got up early and was able to get Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters at WalMart. So glad because I know they are selling out stores because I've been calling everywhere.
Anyway, my kids have been playing with them all day. And then hair got wrapped around the little wheel and I thought one had broke so I spent forever trying to get the hair off -- but that's not what was making an additional squealing noise and making the wheels stop turning.
The little Zhu Zhu pets hamsters just needed new batteries. They came with 2 AAA batteries from the manufacturer -- and I'm sure they weren't in the store that long so that little hands could've worn out the batteries thru the "try me" window.
They must've just come with batteries not as good as the ones I changed them into. Because I just popped in some Duracel or whatever batteries -- and now the Zhu Zhu Pets run even faster than when we first bought them this morning.
My children are playing with them as I write.
Now we want all the Zhu Zhu pets in the collection -- and the accessories. Maybe by Christmas or before... |

| I gave Zhu Zhu pets to my grandsons for Christmas. They were little but big on entertainment. They go everywhere, and when one's attention is diverted for a moment, a search is sometimes necessary. Once it crawled up a diaper bag and disappeared into a baby's supplies! The only drawback is that I feel they were overpriced due to Christmas demand. I found better prices after the demand receded. |

| We got this for the daughter of a close friend. The little girl called us several times to thank us for it. She was very happy to finally have a Zhu Zhu pet and plays with it all the time (her mom tells us). We think it was a great price and much cheaper than ebay had them for. The toy shipped fast and arrived within days and we choose the regular shipping method. I would recommend this toy. |

| Although the prices are out of this world sometimes, you can always count on Amazon to have that HAVE TO HAVE IT NOW TOY!!! If you don't have to have it now feel free to shop store to store to store to store until you can find it. If you can afford it, Amazon will have it!!! This little hamster has brought us loads of fun!! The accessories make it even better. Have extra AA Batteries on hand because this only comes with demo batteries, so you might even have to change the batteries before you play with it for the first time. Our favorite accessory so far is the adventure ball. You can bet this is going to the be the #1 Hot Toy for 2009! |

This, by far, is the cutest little toy I've ever bought for my grandkids. my garanddaughter has one already from her birthday party which she got from her parents. So I decided to try and add more to the collection. She will love them both. they are cuddly and the fur is so real feeling that you want just pet it all day long. Good chooice for me.
